WALT:Create goals for camp this year

Here are my goals for camp. Camp is just right there and I am so happy. I am so excited to explore camp,and to see what its like. It sucks that it 2h and 30m but it will be alright because we will listen to the boys sing on the bus. The thing I would like everyone to do is to bond with everyone and get along.My next steps are to make stronger bonds with everyone else.

Celebration's In November

WALT:Reflect on November Celebration's

Today we got given a task to do after SSR and it was to research November Celebrations.In my reflection It will be talking about Celebrations that happen in Novemeber.My new idea is that Natinal Tounge Twister day is on the 13th of November and you have to say Peter Piper Picked a Peck of Pickled Peppers.The thing I enjoynd was that I tried to say it fast but it was hard.My next steps are to make more reflections on celebrations each month

Is Sport Sexist?

Today we got given 2 pieces of paper to read and answer.The article we got given was Is Sports Sexist?.The text was all about The Black Ferns not getting fame and not having supporters.My new idea was in a paragraph about a Basketball Player Elena Delle Donne and she is one of the best free throw players in the world,even though she is world class in her sport I have never heard of her and the article said it was because she was a women.The thing I enjoyed was that the article I read was about Sport.My next steps are to Do more reflection In class because it introduce's me into new ideas

Title:Scientists dive inside weird looking Mars funnel for the first time

It was 2009 when Joseph Levy pouring over images from the surface of the Martian planet.He was interested by what he found.He was looking deep into the of two craters known as the Hella's depression,other people have looked before but nobody saw what he saw.Last week, Dr levy and a team of researchers from the University of Texas at Austin went deep inside the craters for the first time.They produced detailed 3D measurement to determine with responsible certainty that if life ever exist on the red planet, it existed here.Dr Levy, a research associate at the University of Texas institute of Geo graphics,led the project.His findings were this month published in Icarus,The International Journal of Solar System Studies

Today my class got told to reflect on the Technology Section of NZ Herald.The topic I chose was Scientists dive inside weird looking Mars funnel for the first time.The new Idea I found was that they got the University of Texas at Austin to help research the Martian Planet.I enjoyed that I got to reflect on this because it was interesting. My next steps are to reflect more on what I was reading.The thing I am going to be doing next time is that I am going to put more information in my reflection.

Today I got given an article and it was about How do you rate a Movie? The text was all about bad language and swear words.My new idea is that movies have ratings because some movies are inapropriate to younger kids like me.I enjoied this because it was about movies and I have watched movies that i'm not allowed to watch.

Earthquake that stuck Kaikoura

Today my class (ROOM 9) got told to write a reflection about the Earthquake that has struck Kaikoura on Sunday midnight.The new ideas I found was that it was a family and they had three kids aged 2,4,6 years old.The thing I enjoyed was that I got to find out there family's experience throughout the earthquake.The thing I found challenging is that how I tried to make the sentences into my own words.My nextsteps are to reflect more on topics like these

Manaiakalani Film Festival Reflection

Manaiakalani Film Festival 

Today started off when we went to room two to pare up with our buddies.My Buddie was my nepwhew Pauliasi,we went outside and had a run.Then we went back inside Room 2 and got told by Miss Parke what we do at Sylvia park and some of the answers were Listen,Walk,Don't leave your buddies and more.Then we had Morning Tea for a couple of minutes,Then the bell rang and we had to get ready to got to Sylvia Park,We had to go to the toilets at school because we weren't aloud to go toilet at the movies.Then we walked to the bus,Theyere were 3 busses for the whole school.Our bus was only for Room 2 and 9 beacuse all the other classes could fit in the other busses.During the bus ride we were singing for a little bit.Then miss took fotos of us in the bus. When we got there we had to walk to the cinemas and we were sharing theaters with Panmure bridge.We went to the XtremeScreen at Silvia park hoyts,The XtremeScreen is a Screen that is big and the theater is massive.When they started the Manaiakalani Movies it was Tamaki's turn to present there movie,then so long and so fourth.After that we walked to the bus where we got off at then we went back to school just in time for lunch.My new idea is to focus on what the school has presented.The thing I enjoyed was that I got to spend more time with my nephew.The thing I found challenging was that it was hard to controll my nephew,my next steps are to be a perfect role modle to my buddy and other junior students

Today my article that I have chosen is: 

Strong Earthquake the strikes central Italy

A strong earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale has cause central italy.The earthquake struck about 6km north of Morcia.This Earthquake was more powerful than the earthquake in August, which almost killed 300 people.It was also said there was no world yet on any caulsities Local authorities said many towns and villages already battterd my the August earthquake.After the earthquake there was not a single word said about the people who were kild on the incident the happend.Italy is one of the places where earthquakes hit and many people leave that country to not die and save ther live,They was experienced the wrost earthquakes ever.

Today in room 9 after Morning tea we had to do SSR in the world section of Kiwi Kids News.The article I have chose is the Strong Earthquake Strikes Central Italy.My artcle is about a strong earthquake that stroke central Italy and it was the largest earthquake they've had since August,
