Today we got sent a task on gmail and it was to research Christmas song and answer the questions we were given

Jingle bell is best known for its Christmas song around the world,the person who wrote it was James Lord Pierpont and it originally came from Savannah,Savannah is a city in Georgia United states of America.

🤘🔔:Jingle Bell Rock:🔔🤘

Jingle Bell Rock was originally made in America and it was written by Bobby Helms.The lyrics of Jingle Bell rock means the old Christmas.

🎅✌️:Santa Claus Is Coming to town:🎅✌️

Santa Claus is coming to town was originally written by John Fredrick Coots and Haven Gillespie and it was originally written in Turkey. The lyrics means Santa is giving out present and if you want presents you better watch out,you better not cry,you better not pout im telling you why Santa claus is coming to town.

Here are 4 Different countries that celebrate christmas differently

1# Netherlands

Tradition: Sinterklaas and Black Peter

In Holland Santa Claus is called Sinterklaas. He doesn’t live at the North Pole, but in sunny Spain and arrives by steamboat with a helper called Black Peter rather than an elf.

2#Australia

Tradition: Rudolph the red nosed Kangaroo

Of course Down Under Christmas falls in summer. There tradition has it that Father Christmas swaps his reindeer for ‘six white boomers’ or kangaroos. It’s also traditional to enjoy a barbecue on the beach on the big day.

3#Ukraine

Tradition: Spider webs on the tree

It may sound more like a Halloween tradition than a Christmas one but Ukrainians decorate their Christmas trees with spider webs. Legend says that a magic spider once visited a poor family at Christmas and turned the webs in their home into gold and silver.

Tradition: Roller-skating to Church

In the capital, Caracas, roads are closed off so that locals can blade to morning mass – they even tie pieces of string and dangle them out of the window so, if they oversleep, passers-by will be able to tug on the string and wake them up.

7. Jingle Bells was originally written by James Pierpont in 1857, for Thanksgiving not Christmas. It was originally called One Horse Open Sleigh.

Today we got given a task on gmail and it was to research on origins of Christmas.My new ideas from doing this activity was that Jingle bells was written for Thanksgiving not for Christmas.What I found challenging was that I we had to write about what the lyrics mean.What I enjoyed was that I got to research more about Christmas Songs.My next steps are to find more facts about Christmas.
